The expected version of the product was not found on the system during install a cumulative update in SharePoint 2013

When I was trying to install a cumulative update in SharePoint 2013  I’ve got the following error message:

The expected version of the product was not found on the system

To avoid this follow the mentioned steps below :

• Open SharePoint Management Shell as Administrator.
• Navigate to CU folder using Tab then add the following attribute after CU file name:

PACKAGE.BYPASS.DETECTION.CHECK=1

Now the CU Window should be shown.

Actualizaciones aparentemente no instaladas en SharePoint 2010

Instalando un CU y después de instalar los binarios ejecutamos el Asistente de Configuración de SharePoint y nos arrojó una pantalla de error y no nos permitió seguir:



Para resolver este problema usamos el comando Installcheck -noInstallcheck:

psconfig -cmd installcheck -noinstallcheck
